'Fitness Yoga is an effective and exciting \"Mind\" and \"Body\" workout. It is a safe practice that will make you sweat and work hard, connecting breath with movement. It combines aerobic and anaerobic movements, as well as elements from Hatha Yoga and traditional exercise, linked together in a flowing series of poses that create strength, flexibility, endurance and balance. Fitness Yoga is about exploring your limits physically and mentally, working all parts of your body equally to create balance that will compliment other activities of daily life. The class is offered in a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere to release stress and tension.  Picture FITNESS YOGA LITE & SCULPT  BEGINNER A safe and effective approach to improving and maintaining an active lifestyle while boosting energy levels. The focus will be on posture, balance, range of motion, joint health, muscular yoga poses and deep stretches, connecting breath with movement. Adding in traditional upper body sculpting and toning with 1-3 pound weights. Stress and tension will melt away as we work through poses in a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. This is an excellent class if you are healing from an injury or if you are new to yoga. Yoga mat and 1-3 pound weights required. Picture FITNESS YOGA & PILATES  A perfect blend of yoga postures and pilates exercises. This Pilates and Yoga class will work on strength, balance, flexibility and will have a strong focus on troublesome areas such as the abs , hips, and the waistline. Using proper body alignment for a safe and an effective workout. Making sure to strengthen the back as well as the core. Picture BASIC FITNESS YOGA & PILATES    Do you have a sore back? A strong core can help relieve or eliminate back pain. Strength, Balance and Flexibility are key to a healthy body. This Pilates and Yoga  class is a perfect blend of yoga postures and Pilates exercises that will focus on these elements. This class will also focus on troublesome areas such as the abs, hips and waistline. Picture  FITNESS YOGA (YIN) *NEW CLASS* This class is designed to untangle and unwind the tension and stress that we hold in our bodies from our everyday activities. Yin Yoga practices target the deeper connective tissues; poses will be held 3-5 minutes with the support of props and with very little muscle engagement. We will explore and learn the bodies energy centers (Chakras) and practice taking our attention inward. All the while, working towards complete relaxation of the mind and of the body. FITNESS YOGA - COMBO (Pilates/Yoga/Weights) CONDITIONING CLASS This class is a combination of all the styles of classes that are offered at Fitness Yoga. There will be sun salutations and warriors along with lots of core work using our core ball and then adding in some hand weights (3-5lbs) to complete the class. With this class you will be able to customize your workout with lots of options and enhancements while still  taking some time to connect with our breath and mindfully moving then finishing the class with some  deep yoga stretches. The class will begin and end with some soothing and relaxing music but adding in some get-you-moving music for the active part of class.'
